| what i learned my freshmen year at Penn: when you get hit by a bike, take down the guy's insurance number.
its been 6 months, and i'm still in pain. gonna get it fixed this summer so i can go skiing this winter, but no bowling for a while. what a wonderful image i'll project to those poor incoming freshman at Ashford and Wriston...ha, i got it right finally.

| first things first: HAPPY 19th BIRTHDAY, STACE!!!!!!
hehe. laptop is broken. finals ALMOST over. storage coming up. (ppl, don't complain about how early it is. i have to be up 6:30)
then....HOME. warm sun, sending my laptop in for data recovery (pls let it be not too expensive), corned beef hash, chicken katsu curry, mac salad, hamburger steak, chili, shave ice, beach, info sec, beef stew, a shower i can sit in.... and of course, all my loved ones at home.

| Thank you everybody for the phone calls & cards & stuff! since i hardly get to talk to most of u guys throught the semester (not on purpose, right sawai?), it was so nice to chat even for a lil while. first bday away from home, and it wasn't that bad. even if my mom did call 4-5 times in one day...but hey, she misses me. lala, tell ur mom that she is fabulous, and so are u! mari, will, aaron, jon, kerensa-- thank u for my suprise. i was so confused, i really did have to write that paper (which i will finish wen im done w/ this entry)... but the cake was delicious, mari, and for one of the few times in my life, i was speechless... i really wish u had stayed longer.
marko! hope u had fun in philly. got to experience our wonderful east coast weather. i hate to tell u that right after u left, the weather got super nice, like up in the 60's. :) hope u and lish had fun w/ Lala at BU's luau. (p.s. i adore the constit center....highly recommend it to anyone who comes here...if/when u do)
Luau. wow, it was so awesome. all that prep and practice, and it went by so fast tho. but i guess that's how it always goes. kinda felt a lil like high school again. altho, the most rice i ever had to cook for highschool was 10 cups, not 50lbs... singing hawaii aloha made me nostalgic for home. not exactly homesick, but just a lil tingly feeling, i guess. i dunno. but anyway, the afterparty was just as great, and i must say that we have a very caring Hawaii Club that takes care of its members. thanks u guys, u kno who u are. | | |
